petition against gov. landry

May 4th, Marian Hills and Katilyn Stepter, submitted a petition against Governor Landry to recall him. They accuse him of not working in the interest of Louisianans and emphasizing punishment. They have to collect at least 500,000 signatures of the registered voting population of Louisiana in 180 days.

The organizer of the petition, Katilyn Stepter, went to social media to warn against scams. They fear that people who do not want the petition to succeed are going to try to tamper with it. They emphasize the importance of signing in person. It is impossible to sign online, it is also necessary to be registered to vote.

This petition has even gained interest outside of Louisiana when Rep. Jasmine Crockett of Texas posted his excitement for the Louisiana petition saying that they need petitions everywhere for “all sad dehumanizing republicans.” Katilyn and Marian are organizing and training people to help and allow Louisianans to sign the petition in all corners of the state.
