Mauritius: Creole in parliament

In the Indian ocean, Mauritius is trying to introduce the Creole language in parlement. This attempt is inspired by the National assembly of Seychelles that integrated their Creole language to become more accessible for the average citizen. Yet, two Hinduist groups, Arya Sabha and Mauritius Sanatan Dharma Temples Federation (MSDTF) contest the introduction of the language due to prioritizing one national language over the others. Despite all Mauritians being able to speak Creole, the Hinduist groups believe the introduction of the language will degrade the situation of their ancestral languages
